Ulti-what?

"Look! Revolution!!"
Jan 4, 2011: “The prime minister should tell us within the next 72 hours if he can do it. If he does not tell us or says he cannot do it, then we will part ways with them in Punjab also,” Nawaz Sharif said.

Jan 4, 2011: Salmaan Taseer assassinated in Islamabad, Sharif adds 72 hours more in first deadline.

Jan 10, 2011: “I have told Mian Sahib (Nawaz Sharif) that we are positive about his demands and he replied, ‘if you are positive then we will not part ways with your party in Punjab’,” Gilani told the media after spending a hectic day calling almost all national leaders.

Oh that fellow is so funny! All this commotion for what? My advice to Mr. Nawaz Sharif that he should stop consuming those "oh so cheap" naans. They are not only ruining the reserves for Punjab, which could have  been used for better purposes, but also they are messing with his brain. Or maybe, it is the hair transplant. Whatever the reason was? Mr. Sharif has been nothing but very illogical in his principles of politics. He still lives in 1999 and still quotes the prices of his era. He is obsessed with Musharraf while forgetting that he, himself, is not a pious "cow".

Strange enough, during his time in exile (or I say, "political vacation") in Saudi Arabia, he engaged in a business with an Israeli firm. He not only tried to import a plant from Israel but also got the documents and trade label forged. On the contrary, he was not once but twice served (or looted) as Prime Minister. Did he forget that Pakistan forbids from doing business with anyone in Israel? Furthermore, he was the one who wanted the Sharia Law to be implemented in Pakistan where he could have been "Amir ul-Momineen", or Commander of the Faithful, a position of absolute power of an expected anarchic nature. Quite ambitious, ain't he? Very democratic, I must say.

About that exile he got back in 2000; the one he claimed that never existed but then he claimed that it was for "five years only". Well, it expired last month and it was originally for "ten years", a claim made by Dunya News. Had he been a little smart, he would waited? He would have waited for 2011 where people might have asked for a change if things were wrong. Even though things were apparently wrong back in 2007, he should have given the chance to others to make a "mess". Even if there would have been no "mess" for him to clean up after the completion of his "exile", there would have been quite a few people waiting back for him and his stories.

Now whats the point of this rant you may ask? Well, recently I asked some of my friends who are quite educated and civil about the vote in 2013 (CURIOSITY, ftw), they all somehow showed an inclination towards voting for Mr. Sharif's party in the next election. Their argument is that they have no other choice. I do agree with their point half-heartedly but is it necessary to test some like Mr. Sharif. Mr. Sharif has proven to be to be very contradictory in his nature. It would be utter foolishness if we trust him and his whole lot of cronies again. If things are so bleak, it would be better if we cast an invalid vote and make a statement of distrust in the whole process.
